The Role

Here at Hain Daniels we're recruiting for an Operations Manager, based at our Corby site. Here, we produce freshly prepared fruit, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, fresh fruit patisserie and fruit jellies for the retail channel.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Operations Manager will lead a designated Manufacturing Unit in the achievement of long-term performance targets of the group and guide its strategic development for the successful achievement of Company aims and objectives.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Formulate, agree, monitor and report on budgets and KPIs for the Manufacturing Unit to enable the site to meet its EBITDA.

  • Lead, manage and motivate the manufacturing unit, coaching and encouraging people to achieve results which meet targets and objectives and support the Company values (e.g. right first time).

  • Formulate, agree and implement a site manufacturing strategy up to six months ahead to meet anticipated business requirements. 

  • Promote, audit, review and recommend developments to Company policies and procedures in order to achieve a safe, controlled and well managed Unit and to protect the Company’s assets and reputation.

  • Liaise and co-operate with colleagues in the Senior Management team to deliver the agreed site manufacturing strategy through the effective utilisation of support functions.

  • General awareness of and encouraging a positive safety culture.
