The Role

Here at Hain Daniels we are currently recruiting for a Student Process Assistant at our Grimsby site. Here, we manufacture fresh soups and ready meals, for our own brands, under license, and for private label products.

The role of Student Process Assistant will be to support the Process team in delivering products, which meet the set quality, safety and margin standards, by assisting with trials and carrying out post-trial analysis and routine tasks as projects require.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organising samples and sample requests.
  • Organise trial stock and process team raw materials.
  • Set up panels and heat samples.
  • Carry out washouts and record the results.
  • Reheat instructions and suitability for freezing.
  • Managing Buy Back Panels.
  • Making kitchen samples and collecting ingredients.
  • Maintain high standards of working.
  • Follow procedures where necessary.
  • Support the Process team with trials.

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • Working towards, or recent Graduate, in a Food related subject.
  • Full UK driving license is essential, as travel across our different sites in the UK will be required. This may also include over night stays as required.
  • Bright, able to think 'outside the box'.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to be flexible.
  • You will describe yourself as creative, and a 'foodie' with basic culinary skills.
