The Role

Here at Hain Daniels we are currently recruiting for a Deputy Hygiene Supervisor at our Clitheroe site. Here we manufacture traditional hot puddings under our Farmhouse Fare brand, as well as our own private label puddings.

This role is to assist the Hygiene supervisor and cover all his or her jobs when supervisor is off, to ensure the factory is cleaned and sanitized and left in a condition that ensures food safety, to ensure all chemicals are left full, and all training for agency and Farmhouse Fare employees is up to date, to ensure all staff reporting to them operate in accordance with the H&S policy.

This is a temporary assignment, but may be made permanent in a short period of time should the successful applicant perform well for us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all departments are cleaned and sanitized (Foaming & Fogging)

  • Ensure all training is up to date for agency and FHF employees.

  • Report any broken equipment or unsafe practices to manager.

  • Provide information of issues to ensure improvements are captured and implemented.

  • Cover and perform Supervisor tasks in the absence of the Hygiene Supervisor.

  • Ensure the departments meet all company and legal requirements with regard to health & safety, environment, GMP, food safety and employment law.
  • Ensure all HACCP procedures are adhered to at all times, and all CCP`s you are responsible for is within specification.

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • Experience in FMCG or Food manufacturing
  • Food Hygiene and H&S experience
  • Able to work shifts
