Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for Production Operatives at our Farmhouse Fare site in Clitheroe. Here, we manufacture traditional hot puddings under our Farmhouse Fare brand, as well as our own private label puddings.

There are 3 shifts we need to fill: 

5am to 1pm (low care saucing)

3pm to 11pm (Low care packing)

6pm to 2am (Kitchen)
You will be required to work 40hrs per week. Overtime at x1.3 becomes applicable after 40hrs per week.

The purpose of the Production Operative is to assist Shift Manager and Team Leader in all aspects of food production within an efficient, continuously improving production line/area. Specific responsibilities include the preparation, packing, assembling of a number of product lines within a well-trained team, where there is open communication at all levels. You will be trained onto the role and it offers a great opportunity for you to further progress within the business.

*Starting rate is £8.72 increasing to £8.95 after 12 weeks! You will also have the opportunity to train to become a more skilled operative where you could earn a base rate of £9.15/ hr * (apprenticeship opportunities available)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all products are made to company specification
  • Assembling, cooking, and packing of quality products
  • Provide information of issues to ensure improvements are captured and implemented.
  • Complete tasks and duties as required by your manager
  • Follow Health and safety guidelines

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • Previous production experience in food manufacturing is beneficial
  • Basic understanding of Food Hygiene is preferred
  • Awareness of Health and Safety
  • Effective communication skills, and a good grasp of the English language.
  • Training will be offered
  • Commitment with a good work ethic
