The Role

Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a New Business Manager who will work across both our Grocery and Chilled & Frozen categories. This is a home based role that will require nationwide travel to the sites and to customers.

The main purpose of this role is to drive Hain Daniels products into new categories in existing customers and aquire new customers.

Identifying profitable new business opportunities, prioritising and converting these into sales and profit will be vital; there could also be an element of managing existing business.

This role will be focussed on the commercial management of key Customers, seeking to maximise sustainable profitable growth across Hain Daniels Brands and Own Label.

Successful candidate must be able to build strong relationships and interface superbly across multiple functions and levels. Working cross functionally both internally and externally, the individual is responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship as a lead.

Key objective will be to drive sales, profit, distribution and visibility within the agreed Customers, achieving and exceeding set targets/budget.

It is a requirement that the jobholder and all reports are compliant with Competition Law at all times

Key Responsibilities:

  • Broaden and manage customer portfolio, accountable for achievement of agreed targets
  • Build and review annual customer pipeline
  • Sales forecasting, reporting and analysis
  • Prioritisation of new business opportunities across the group
  • Work cross functionally across internal departments
  • Commercial finance- managing and approving all spend

What you will need for the role / what it will take:

  • Degree educated
  • FMCG Sales background with a proven track record of acquiring new business
  • Experience of brand and retail own label
