The Role

At Hain Daniels we are currently recruiting for a CI Coordinator at our Fakenham site. Fakenham is our dedicated Meat Free facility, producing vegetarian products under the Linda McCartney Foods brand and retail own label.

The working pattern is 4 on 4 off 12 hr shift and You will be responsible for the following:
  • To support & sustain the existing Management Control System by providing hands on approach to Factory departments in improving performance & acting as a change agent.
  • Achieve improvements within the Company’s safety, environmental & quality frameworks whilst developing team work & a C.I. culture.
  • Operational duties include coaching staff, day to day problem solving activities & auditing key processes within the Management Control System.
  • Departmental administrative duties including compiling reports, assisting in data collection & analysis, & presenting information in a clear and concise manner. Departmental support may include off-line training, coaching & hands on methods of practical support, guidance & delivery in C.I. techniques and application.
  • To develop existing processes & assist with the introduction of new working practices, lean techniques & new site technology (working closely with multi-disciplinary teams).
  • Support in the development & implementation of improvement plans with the factory management team.
  • Provide practical support to factory in relation to problem solving & efficiency improvements. Play a key role in resolving manufacturing & supply chain issues using problem solving techniques. 
  • Full flexibility of working hours is required in order to deliver all of the above within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.


What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma
  • Proven project lead exposure
  • Strong Microsoft office skills- Advanced Excel
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Some working knowledge of: 5S, SMED, Root Cause Analysis, SIC, OEE & other lean techniques
  • Front line Manager experience of leading people or working within a team
