The Role

Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for an HR Generalist for Histon. In Histon, we manufacture a host of ambient sweetspreads and jellies for our grocery brands. These includes Hartley's jams and jellies, Gale's honey, Rose's and Robertsons marmalade's.

The position exists to provide HR guidance and support to all functions within the Histon site.  The role must ensure a seamless and efficient HR service to these functions, supported through the Head of HR, central HR Support, Learning & Development, Recruitment and Payroll expertise within the team.  The HR Generalist will be the sites prime point of contact who will work with functional leads/managers across the business to ensure that legislation and ‘best practice’ is adhered to

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering on HR issues
  • Support managers with recruitment
  • Training & Development- guide managers through situations and provide feedback
  • Professional knowledge, understanding employment legislation, case law and it's application
  • Offer advice and provide mediation
  • Project management
  • Site communication and engagement

What you will need for the role / what it will take:

  • Degree or equivalent. CIPD accredited at graduate level
  • Experience gained in a similar role
  • Experience deploying HR change initiatives
  • Ability to influence and persuade
  • Broad range of knowledge
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement
