The Role

Here at Hain Daniels we are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to work at our Grimsby site. Here, we manufacture fresh soups, for our own brands, under license, and for private label products.

You will be required to work a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) 37.5 hrs per week. The site will look to train suitable people to multi skilled operatives and rate of pay will range from £9.10/ hr to £9.60/ hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all products are made to company specification including, temperature, weight, photo standards, CCP, reporting all failures to Team leader.
  • Assemble, blending, and packing of quality products to company standards at all times, reporting any failures.
  • Report all downtime to ensure they are acted upon immediately and incidents of more than 10mins are reported.
  • Provide information of issues to ensure improvements are captured and implemented
  • Help maintain GMP by keeping work area/line clean and tidy. 
  • Ensure all near miss and accidents are reported to management.
  • Ensure resources are available to meet the needs of your shift.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, technical and legislative policies and procedures.

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • Experience within the FMCG industry or manufacturing site.
  • Basic Food Hygiene
  • Relevant Health & Safety awareness.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to self-manage, and problem solve.
