The Role

Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Production Deputy Supervisor at our Clitheroe site. In Clitheroe, we manufacture traditional hot puddings under our Farmhouse Fare brand, as well as our own private label puddings.

The successful Production Deputy Supervisor will supervise operatives involved in the department, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the department in order to meet business targets, whilst conforming to all hygiene and safety requirements and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day running of the Department through man management, inventory management and administration management
  • Ensure that all resources are in place to deliver the business requirements
  • Provide information at the daily production meetings to ensure that all opportunities for improvement are captured and implemented
  • Handover to the oncoming Deputy Supervisor by walking the area and reviewing any issues.
  • Develop and implement objectives for the team on an ongoing basis

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  •  Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment
  • You will need relevant knowledge of systems, processes and equipment
  •  Basic food hygiene and health & safety qualifications are desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of all jobs within a manufacturing environment and the basic principles of food safety, GMP and HR Legislation.
