The Role

Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Commercial Analyst to provide financial and commercial decision-making support to the sales and marketing teams across all channels. 

The role reports into the Market, Strategy and Planning Controller and is a great chance to develop business-partnering skills. We are looking for a capable individual with FMCG or Retail experience and a demonstrable record of adding value through analysis and business decision support. The individual must be adaptable and happy with working in a very changeable environment (new systems implementation etc.) with a relatively new team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating profitable strategies for promotions and trade investment spend through analytics, insight, action planning and teamwork.
  • Promotional expert – go to individual for sales, marketing and commercial finance for all aspects of promotion and commercial planning.
  • Promotional process, systems & reporting super user
  • Business partnering through effective cross functional working

What you will need for the role / what it will take:

  • CIMA or ACCA qualification essential (or working towards)
  • 2-4 years working in industry post qualifications (FMCG ideal but not essential)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail orientated
