The Role

Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Lead Operative to join our soup factory in Grimsby. In Grimsby, we manufacture fresh soups for our New Covent Garden brand and for private label.

The job of the lead operative in Warehouse is to provide a visible point of contact within the stores/warehouse for all staff. To work with the Team Leader to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to and that the operation makes the most efficient use of its resources

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the warehouse operation proactively, ensuring that all aspects pick, Put away and replen meet the required targets and that the floor space is used effectively
  • Ensure operator compliance with standard operating procedures, quality procedures, use of movex
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping and be responsible for presentation of department to customer visits/audits and Senior Management
  • Ensure that shift are aware of targets and feedback performance issues and equally good performance

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • GCSE – 3 Grades above C
  • Experience in a warehouse setting 
  • Good communication skills
