The Role

At Hain Celestial, we’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Regulatory Advisor. This is a remote role, collaborating closely with our sites across the UK.
 
 You will be responsible for providing labelling, nutrition, consumer information and regulatory advice for Hain Celestial UK, completing detailed impact assessments of new regulation when necessary, informing the business of regulatory change and representing Hain Celestial externally as required

Support the Regulatory and Specifications Manager to deliver business projects from concept to launch where required which may include regulatory risk tracking, claims and artwork, identifying areas of contention, working cross-functionally to resolve issues

Communicate and train new legislative and company policy requirements in respect of labelling and nutrition to the R&D and Specifications teams, supporting the ongoing development of the Hain Celestial UK Quality Management Systems

 

Key Responsibilities / Accountability of the Role:

  • To maintain and extend a high level of awareness of current food legislation, related issues and likely developments, in food legislation in the UK & EU. Developing and maintaining business tools and process to understand and manage risk 
  • To work with the necessary departments to coordinate artwork and advert campaigns ensuring it is correct to the specification and legal.
  • Provide support in reviewing customer standards and assessing impact on Hain Celestial UK products 
  • Liaise with wider Hain Celestial Regulatory teams to support develop of group standard and processes
  • Support the specification function across the group via cross training activities that supports business demands

What you will need for the Role: 

  • Batchelors Degree level qualification(s) in food science or related subjects
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the food industry/regulatory roles Strong knowledge of food regulations, food safety standards and relevant labelling requirements essential
