Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Days)
Hain is seeking a Data Administrator to join our team at our dedicated Meat Free facility in Fakenham, which produces vegetarian and plant-based products, including Linda McCartney Foods.
This role provides essential administrative support to our operations and supply chain functions. You’ll play a key part in ensuring production records are processed accurately and on time, stock checks are efficiently completed, and variances are investigated and reported.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Checking (55%)
- Perform regular stock checks in all areas of the factory and record results in the MRP system.
- Conduct ad hoc stock checks as requested by the Procurement team.
- Investigate stock losses and gains, submitting detailed reports to your manager.
- Request or carry out warehouse stock checks to support variances.
- Identify and report outdated materials or those nearing expiration.
- Highlight and report incorrect stock rotation practices.
MRP Data Entry (30%)
- Collect production information and allocate it to Manufacturing Orders in the MRP system.
- Close off completed Manufacturing Orders promptly.
- Activate the MRP system to update data.
- Open Manufacturing Orders for the next day’s production.
Reporting (10%)
- Write reports to explain stock variances.
- Update departmental KPI sheets.
Continuous Improvement Projects (5%)
- Identify problem areas, recommend solutions, and follow through to conclusion.
- Support ad hoc projects as required.
What You’ll Need:
- Education: Strong understanding of stock control procedures, PC literacy (including Excel), and numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a stock control environment.
- Key Skills & Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with a "can-do" attitude.
- Flexibility to cover holidays/absence and assist in other areas of the site.
- Confident with figures and effective communication at all levels.
