Are you passionate about procurement and supply chain management? At Hain Celestial UK, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finished Goods Buyer to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring our products reach our customers seamlessly.
As the Finished Goods Buyer, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of finished goods while managing supplier relationships to optimise cost, quality, and service. You’ll work closely with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to ensure our customers receive the best products on time.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Oversee the procurement of finished goods, ensuring supply aligns with forecasted demand.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating terms to maximise value.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to monitor stock levels and minimise overstock or shortages.
- Analyse purchasing data and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost-saving or process improvements.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all goods meet the required standards and specifications.
- Work with the Finance team to manage budgets and monitor procurement spending.
- Stay updated on market trends, supplier innovations, and potential risks within the supply chain.
What You’ll Need
We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a buying, procurement, or supply chain role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build productive supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supply chain dynamics.
- A passion for working in a values-driven organisation with a focus on sustainability and wellbeing.
