The Role

Here at Hain Daniels we are currently recruiting for Junior Category Manager for our Chilled and Frozen division.

Using consumer, shopper and retailer data, the junior category manager will develop insight and make recommendations that will drive growth in both Hain Daniels and our customers businesses.  The purpose of the role is to support the category managers and senior insight manager, advising key retailers, as well as taking responsibility for developing recommendations for some of our smaller customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the category team with key retailer category requirements
  • Generate category insight using shopper and market data that leads to a clear understanding of the situation and develops clear recommendations that drive action in store
  • Support the range review process with all key retail partners, providing range and merchandising recommendations across all categories

       

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • Degree level education
  • Data/ category Management experience
  • Experienced gained in a similar role within FMCG ideally
  • Must be able to travel nationally if required
  • Your approach must be very analytical in order to influence the category agenda, familiar with relevant data sources and able to interpret data to a high standard.
  • Strong Excel Skills, Hain Daniels use IRI, Kantar, Dunnhunby & i2C as their data sources. 
  • Highly numerate
