The Role

Here at Hain Daniels we are currently recruiting for various Production Operatives at our Clitheroe site. Here, we manufacture traditional hot puddings under our Farmhouse Fare brand, as well as our own private label puddings.

To assist Shift Manager, Team Leader in all aspects of food production within an efficient, continuously improving production line/area. Optimising product quality, GMP, customer service, cost and Health & Safety. Specific responsibilities include the preparation, packing, assembling of a number of product lines within a well-trained team, where there is open communication at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all products are made to company specification including temperature, weight, photo standards, CCP, and reporting any failures to your Team Leader.
  • Assembling, cooking, and packing of quality products to company standards at all times to deliver premium quality products.
  • Reporting downtime to ensure they are acted upon immediately.
  • Provide information of issues to ensure improvements are captured and implemented.
  • Help maintain GMP by keeping work area/line clean and tidy.
  • Ensure all near-misses and accidents are reported to management.
  • Ensure all HACCP procedures are adhered to at all times, and all CCP's you are responsible for is within specification.
  • Complete all relevant documentation.

What you will need for the role / what it will take

 
  • 1 years' experience within the FMCG industry, or relevant manufacturing site.
  • Basic understanding of Food Hygiene.
  • Relevant Health & Safety awareness.
  • Effective communication skills, and a good grasp of the English language.
