The Role

Here at Hain Daniels we are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Manager at our Corby site. Here, we produce freshly prepared fruit, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, fresh fruit patisserie and fruit jellies for the retail channel.

This is a Night Shift position.
The Hygiene Manager will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of hygiene across all manufacturing areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food safety across the site, ensuring that all machinery is fit for purpose.
  • Ensuring hygiene paperwork is fully compliant, with site standards and customer expectations, incorporating governing bodies such as BRC and ISO.
  • Ensuring that continuous improvements are taken into consideration, developing new techniques of cleanliness and standards.
  • Attending site activity meetings and problem solving, ensuring a proactive approach is visible.
  • Training and development of personnel.

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • Advanced HACCP, Advanced Food Hygiene, COSHH, manufacturing standards, good understanding of Cleaning In Place (CIP).
  • Good leadership and organisational skills.
  • Confidence in managing change, adapting to requirements, and driving improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Confident with external customers / suppliers.
